Sun Prairie 2005 Makeover Contest Winner
Marie is the third recipient of a new smile makeover, courtesy of Dentistry of Wisconsin. Recently, Dentistry of Wisconsin practice has expanded to include the talent of Dr. Tom Katz., the cosmetic dentistry artists has formed a team dedicated to teaching and providing the ultimate in cosmetic dentistry skill. To celebrate their new focus, including the state-of-the-art Cerec crown technology, the doctors held a makeover contest, and the lucky winner was Marie Chavez.
Marie received six revolutionary, new, Cerec porcelain veneers, created in the office and placed in a single day. “That means we have total control of the finished product…and because we have the technology right in the office, there are far less variables to deal with,” said Katz.
The appointment can take a little longer, because all procedures are completed in the same visit, but Marie said she hardly noticed. “My six front teeth have been made beautiful in one, six-hour visit with no pain. It was too much fun to be too long,” she said.
Marie describes her relationship with the doctors as “friends for life. I can’t imagine my life without them, now.” The Wisconsin team strives to schedule only one patient at a time, so the doctors can provide the ultimate in individual care, without interruption.
Marie also received a new hairstyle, make-up pallet, and manicure and pedicure from Hair Excellence, and a wellness assessment from Therapy Advances. To celebrate the new Marie Chavez, Marie and her husband enjoyed a night out, including a chauffeured limousine, and a seafood dinner at Captain Bill’s restaurant.
Marie describes her makeover experience with emotion. “I’m happy, really happy, with how it looks. I still don’t know who I am looking at,” Marie said. “The woman in the before pictures-I know that woman. I’ve been looking at her for a long time. “
